When it comes to In-Car equipment we normally try to keep to the Genuine stuff where possible. The RCD 330 which is badged up as a Genuine "Look-A-Like" system has been doing the rounds for a while now so we decided to give it a quick run-through!

A VW Beetle came down to us to have an Aftermarket Emblem Camera installed that would work through this aftermarket RCD 330!

This unit which is predominately for sale on Alibaba or eBay can be picked up for as little as £130. It features built in Bluetooth, FM Radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also features Media such as SD Card, Aux-IN and USB.

Due to having CarPlay and Android Auto it then also gives you a great Navigation system which we quickly run through!

For the money it's a great bit of kit that will allow you to easily upgrade your existing system to something a bit more interactive and involved.

We also added in an aftermarket Emblem Camera which even though isn't Genuine gives that extra peace of mind when reversing.
