Create Authentic VHS Effect using an OLD CRT TV | Real CRT Screen Method

Ever wonder how you can make your footage look like an authentic damaged VHS tape using a CRT tv without a recognizable plugin? Well this is how you do it the “real” way! The VHS / CRT aesthetic is perfect for music videos and video art, and using this method creates a better look (in my opinion!) than what you can create with a plugin.

Here is a list of gear you’ll need to create this effect:

► Computer with HDMI out
► HDMI Cable
► HDMI to RCA Converter (The one I use: https://bhpho.to/3cTQI5U)
► 2 RCA Cables (Just for composite video in our case)
► Circuit Bender/ Video Distorter (There are many out there with different looks) (The one I use: https://ebay.to/3rzq3z8)
► CRT TV 📺
► Camera to film your screen
