Jack Benny Honored at Carnegie Hall in 1961 (excerpts)

Jack Benny and Isaac Stern play J. S. Bach at Carnegie Hall on April 3, 1961 as part of a tribute to Jack for his support of several symphonic orchestras in the United States. Portions of this event were taped and later telecast by CBS-TV on September 27, 1961 and rerun on July 31, 1962. Other performers at the concert are named in the filmed comedy bit that serves as an introduction to the TV program, which is included in this posting. Also included here are remarks by Isaac Stern and a very funny monologue by Benny.
