Melvin Matibag defends their faction's move to endorse the presidential bid of Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. despite condemnation from its rival faction under Senator Koko Pimentel. Matibag says the party's constitution was followed while members were consulted. PDP-Laban had been established to oppose the dictatorship of Ferdinand Marcos.
