How to Format Ebook Pages so they Work Perfectly on Kindle AND Smashwords (Apple, Kobo, B&N, etc)

This tutorial explains how to format a Microsoft Word file so that your text is suitable for accurate conversion into an ebook via Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing or Smashwords (Apple, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, etc). This will save you reading the 100+ pages of the Smashwords style guide and similar online material supplied by KDP.

There are four main stages:
1. Formatting the bodytext.
2. Formatting the headings.
3. Sizing and inserting images correctly.
4. Adding external hyperlinks.
