In spite of its many flaws the old Range Rover had a dedicated following. The new model aims to iron out all the problem areas. It certainly looks far more modern, and it's lighter too, so shouldn't lumber about on the road like its overweight predecessor. Economy is improved too, with the first V6-engined Range Rover claiming to achieve a creditable 38mpg.
