How to knit stripes in textured fabric without getting blips of color.

This video explains why blips of color interrupt the transition from one color to another, when working with textured fabrics like ribbing and garter stitch. In addition, the video demonstrates how to control which side of the fabric the blips appear on, and how to take advantage of this characteristic to use it as a design feature.
