Here is a very simple way to check that your tyres' tread depths are legal, using a 20p coin.

Tyre maintenance should be carried out regularly and make sure to also check:

◾️ the general condition of your vehicle's tyres and remove any stones or objects in the tread (including the spare)
◾️ tyre pressures are set correctly and are adjusted according to your load
