iphone 6 6S water damage repair

If you have dropped your phone in the toilet, sink, washing machine, in a pool or at the beach or even have spilled your favorite drink on it - the iphone 6 and plus series generally doesn't take to water like a duck.

Important - whether you will attempt this yourself or take it to a repairer, you MUST ensure that you do not try to turn it on or plug it in. Doing sure can do further damage.

Secondly - the ideal situation is to disconnect the battery asap. Even when the battery is connected there is a small amount of charge going through the phone which can cause a further short of a component.
