What it’s Like to Get Evacuated Off of Disneyland’s Splash Mountain

Hi everyone! This video was taken prior to the pandemic (June 2018) on the Splash Mountain log ride at Disneyland in California, at around 11:15 am. The ride had stopped a couple times while we were on it prior to filming this, and this all happened pretty soon after we first boarded the ride. The Disneyland Cast Members were amazing and helped each of us out of our logs and led all guests along the side of the flume and into the mountain itself in order to get out. They were very helpful and even gave us all fastpasses to other rides before we left. As you can tell, the mountain is very industrial inside and it was such a cool experience from beginning to end, especially walking alongside the flume.

As I wrote in the video, I apologize for my shaky camera footage, as I was trying not to fall in the water for a majority of the video, and I was also so excited to finally get to experience something like this. I hope you enjoy this behind the scenes look at Splash Mountain!
