Midwest Emo-ish riff I created

Hey there!

I’m fairly new to Midwest Emo/Math Rock. I’ve been studying from and supporting the likes of Steve from @LetsTalkAboutMathRock and Trevor from @TrevorWongMusic and I’ve been dabbling a little and came up with a riff I’m happy and proud of. It’s in the key of A Lydian and it’s a 4 chord progression that includes: Amaj 7, B6, C#m and A flat m with focus on the common A flat found in all 4.

Admittedly, it has a “Honestly” feel/sound to it, but that was completely unintentional!

I’m hoping I can do something more with this. Please give me your thoughts!
