Veterans Glenn Ford, Ben Johnson, Jack Elam, Buck Taylor, Gilbert Roland, Pat Buttram, Slim Pickens, L.Q. Jones and many others were joined by three new actors in the leading roles. Sam Elliott, Tom Selleck and Jeff Osterhage starred as the Sackett brothers.
