Identifying as a poet seemed like identifying as a unicorn at first. The story of him becoming one begins with Byron's dog, trying to impress his girlfriend's mother. Deciding at the end to stick with something Nichita Stanescu said. "There are no poets, there are only poems." Aiming to ditch labels for persons :)
Mark is a an artist and educator based in Peterborough. He writes poems and does live shows that tour all around the world. Recent commissions have included work for The Royal Institute, BBC Radio 1, Radio 1 Xtra, Channel 4, Film 4, Red Bull, The National Maritime Museum and Google. When he is not writing commissions, touring or playing board games he is working on new poetry vids for his Youtube channel. Mark is a an artist and educator based in Peterborough.
