Essential Assessments for Children Who Are Blind or Visually Impaired
In this webcast, Dr. Blankenship discusses the importance of using a combination of assessments: Functional Vision Assessment (FVA), Learning Media Assessment (LMA) and the Expanded Core Curriculum when assessing students with visual impairments. She discusses the use of the e.a. rubric (found at: http://earubric.com/) to identify instructional strategies, supports, goals and instructional priorities.
