Six-year-old Korbyn’s wish to be a member of the Michigan National Guard was granted Friday at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. Korbyn, who has Ewing sarcoma and is a patient at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, started the engine of a KC-135, sat in the cockpit of an A-10, watched two A-10 planes fly overhead and rode in a WWII tank.
