For the first time in 21 years, celebrity rapper and song writer Andrew E performed live in Hong Kong at the Kababayan Jam 2013 courtesy of event sponsors CSL Hong Kong and Globe.

The boiling heat of the sun did not stop Filipinos from singing with Andrew E. whose rap music from years back remains a familiar tune.

From his 'Humanap ka ng Pangit' hit song, Andrew E. impressed the Filipinos in CSL-Globe's Kababayan Jam Yugyugan na!, at Chater Road in Central, June 30.

Andrew E. who launched his first album just three months after the late master rapper Francis M., shared that his brand of music relates to the ordinary Filipinos.

He also expressed appreciation to the warm welcome of the Filipino crowd in Hong Kong during his first performance in the city.

To the crowd's delight, Andew E. gave away music CDs and two of his signature visor cap as he performed.
