Illustration Master Class

Illustration Master Class is a summer workshop that takes place in Amherst, Massachusetts for artists in the field of imaginative realism.

Students paint in both traditional and digital media under the guidance of 15 faculty members, including founder Rebecca Guay, Donato Giancola, Greg Manchess, Mike Mignola, Iain McCaig, Peter de Seve, and James Gurney, who did the casein portrait demo starting at :25.

The video includes time lapse shots made with a GoPro camera mounted on a rotating kitchen timer, which in turn is attached to a dolly pulled by a geared-down Lego motor.
