Customer Spotlight - Piper Aircraft & PIMCO - Haas Automation, Inc.

Over the past 4 years, Piper Aircraft has invested over $30 million in new infrastructure and capital equipment, including several new Haas CNC’s. This investment increased productivity and created excess capacity, which led to the establishment of PIMCO.
PIMCO, a division of Piper Aircraft, aims to sell this excess capacity to other manufacturers.

Business Development Manager, Kevan Chisholm, and Manufacturing Supervisor Rocco Antonino discuss Piper’s manufacturing history and explain how their two new UMC-1250SS pallet pools will allow them to machine parts for Piper Aircraft and external customers while helping to “level load” jobs on the rest of the fleet of Haas CNC’s.
