Czech Technical University in Prague, leading technical research university, located in the picturesque city of Prague, is the oldest non-military technical university in Europe,founded in 1707.

The University’s long tradition of cutting edge science and engineering, together with high-quality technical education, ensues from the work of many great personalities.

Currently, more than 23 000 students are enrolled at eight faculties and five institutes, covering a total of 114 study programs with 450 fields of study. Many of these programs are taught in English, including joint-degree programs with foreign universities. 13% of all students at CTU comes from abroad, including 316 degree-seeking students.

The International Student Club at CTU helps international students to settle in, and organises an Orientation Week, trips and cultural evenings.
