Disturbing Australian Work Safety Ads

So, if you grew up in Australia during the late 2000’s, early 2010’s, and you had regular access to a TV. Most if not all of the work safety ads I saw as a kid came from WorkSafe Victoria, and they asked themselves, how do you teach people safety in the workplace? Shock advertising, deliberately startling or offending the audience by violating norms for social values and personal ideals. These WorkSafe ads have become more toned down over the years, but the weight and impact definitely hasn’t left the mind of people growing up during their era.
