Before the war, 2023 had been the deadliest year for Jews and Palestinians in the occupied West Bank in 15 years. Hamas has included violence towards Palestinians in the West Bank as justification for its brutal attack on Israel. Just weeks ago, Foreign Correspondent’s Stephanie March was in Israel and the occupied West Bank documenting rising tensions between Israelis and Palestinians.
