GoodRENal: promoting healthy lifestyle with chronic kidney disease

They are researchers and specialists in nephrology, physical therapy, psychology and nutrition from four European countries: Belgium, Greece, Sweden and Spain. And they work together to promote healthy lifestyle habits among people with chronic kidney disease and during haemodylisis sessions. They are the European Plus project GoodRENal, leaded by CEU Cardenal Herrera University in Valencia (Spain).
GoodRENal involves designing a virtual platform that is used during the haemodialysis sessions to encourage patients to stick to healthy habits, while they are being treated, through a holistic approach, that includes physical activity, nutrition and psychological well-being.
