CPU temperature comparison: Deep Cool Gammaxx 400 V2 VS AMD Wraith Stealth

EDIT:
Testing configuration is on the bottom of the text.
In this video I am testing two different coolers on an AMD Ryzen 3600 processor. First up, we have a stock AMD Wraith Stealth cooler which comes with the CPU. Second cooler is a budget friendly option, Deep Cool Gammaxx 400 V2, with blue LEDs.

My Ryzen 3600 with stock cooler used to reach 95 degree temperature limit rather easily and quickly. This meant that it throttled automatically as soon as it got under serious load. Even at moderate CPU loads temperature would rise to 95 degrees within seconds. This meant that the fan would run at very high RPMs for a long time, which in turn produced excessive noise. Playing with fan curves in BIOS helped at lower CPU loads but there was no way to escape high noise levels when the temperature rose above 85 degrees.

And that's where Deep Cool Gammaxx 400 V2 enters the scene. Costing between 25 and 30$ on Amazon, this is a great budget friendly option for an upgrade. Installation is simple and straight forward and takes 10-15 minutes if it is your first time.

For testing purposes, I ran three different tests:
-First test was a 4k video export using Adobe Premiere Pro. 10 minute video clip was edited with various effects and rendered at maximum quality.
-Second test was a Cinebench R23 benchmark.
-Third test was playing Metro Exodus game for several minutes.

Unsurprisingly, CPU temperatures are lower with the aftermarket cooler by a large margin. While the temperature used to rise to 95 degrees after starting any of the tests with stock cooler, it never went over 80 degrees with the Gammaxx 400. Fan on the Deep Cool cooler is larger and more efficient at removing heat from the heatsink. Since the temperatures of the CPU are lower the fan spins at slower speeds and in turn produces noticeably less noise.

One unexpected benefit of a more efficient CPU cooler is lowering of the GPU temperatures. In all tests GPU temperature decreased by 1-2 degrees. More importantly, since the inside of the case was also a lot cooler GPU fan didn't have to work so hard to cool the card, meaning it also ran at significantly slower speeds and lower noise levels.

Testing configuration:
MSI B450 A-Pro Motherboard
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU
Patriot Viper Steel 2x16GB 3600MHz RAM
XFX RX580 XXX 8GB graphic card
WD Green 240 GB SATA hard drive
BeQuiet System 9 600W power supply
MS Cyclops V case with no additional fans.
