Kamusta Mga Kaibigan (How are you, friends)? Today, I’m back here at Reyta’s restaurant here in New Jersey. This is my second time eating delicious Filipino food! I LOVE eating Filipino food! I’m on the quest to find the best Filipino food and Mark has invited me back to his restaurant to review more of his foods.

Sagot Gulaman $0 – Sweet Banana Tapioca Drink
What an amazingly refreshing drink! Mark, the owner hooked it up for free! It had a banana essence in it and you can really taste the banana flavors working so well with the brown sugar. It wasn’t too sweet but I would say it was right in the middle. There were chunks of jelly and tapioca in it that added texture to the drink – if you love boba definitely check this out – so good!

Kwek Kwek 6pcs $4.99 - Deep Fried Orange Quail Eggs
Never had deep-fried eggs before – the texture was so interesting. There was this thin orange batter that coated the egg and it was crispy but chewy at the same time (this is the best I can describe it lol). The quail egg was nice and creamy in the inside almost. It wasn’t cooked so long that it was dry but definitely had this smoothness to it which I liked. The sauce that came with it was a perfect sweet and sour match to the fried goodness – awesome! Check this one out too – amazing!

Lechon Sizzling Sisig $15.99 – Roasted Pork On Sizzling Plate. Chopped Lechon with onions, mayo & chili peppers. Served in a sizzling plate.
Just WOW! 10/10! Crunchy, crispy, savory, fatty, soft, hard, oniony, spicy, lemony… everything that I love in food all rolled into one dish! That sizzling plate totally changes the taste to a more crispy, sizzling... almost earthy kind of taste. This dish is dangerous – I can see myself just binging on this… go get it!

Turon a la Mode (w/Mango ice cream) $5.99 – Deep Fried Banana + Mango Ice Cream. Fried banana topped with mango ice cream, rice crispies and chocolate.
What an amazing way to end my lunch. The turon is like a banana lumpia – it’s like a spring roll but the filling inside is creamy delicious banana. The mango ice cream paired with the banana roll was so good – paired up perfectly! The chocolate really elevated the flavors too. Loved this dessert! It wasn’t super sweet either – had a great balance of flavors. Definitely recommended!
