Cutting Lead with a Chainsaw - Salvaging heavy lead boat keel for bullet casting and reloading

This lead sailboat keel weighs an estimated 3000-3500 lbs. I am cutting it up for transport home where I will melt it into ingots for bullet casting. It is 97% lead and 3% antimony. The saw chain had to be tightened repeatedly. The saw had to be sharpened after 2 cuts each 34" long. I built a containment tent arround the area in order to prevent any lead from entering the environment. The lead sawdust from 2 cuts filled half a 5 gallon bucket and weighed 47 lbs. I wore eye protection and a 3M respirator with P100 particulate filters.
