Hello everyone, my name is Alex and I am one of the product specialists here at Spy Centre Security, thee Spy Gear Super Store. I'm going to be reviewing our new Anti Spy Hidden Camera Finder with LCD IR Detector

Out of any of our bug detection products, this hidden camera lens finder is unique: it has its' own built-in camera and LCD screen which is used for a special purpose, and I'll go over that in a second but first let me tell you something about cameras. Cameras can be hidden in many types of devices, from items such as USB Charging Blocks ( show 6807 ) to clocks ( show 6711 ) and even to smoke detectors ( show 1811 ), so you should really be checking over every surface, every knick-knack in your home to find anything suspicious. This device will help you find a camera, whether or not it is transmitting a signal to be received elsewhere for monitoring, and it does this by looking specifically for camera lenses. It has this flashing red light that would bounce off of any reflective surface, however you would then be looking through this red film to block out other colors to help you find tiny pinprick reflections against this flashing light. You may have to move back and forth a bit if the camera is placed behind some reflective surface, and this will also help you to determine if you're finding a camera or getting a false positive like an LED bulb: if you can see the pinprick reflection from any angle, you're probably looking at an LED; if you lose the tiny reflection if you go too far to one side or the other, it's more likely a camera lens.

The greatest feature of this new device is this built-in camera and LCD screen. What this is designed for is to help you locate infrared emitters, like those used for cameras to see at night. You'll see this in the demonstration portion of this review video, but when looking at a camera with night vision through this LCD screen, you'll see what seems like a bright beam from a flashlight, and you can follow that beam to the point of origin where you might be finding a camera. You can test this feature with a simple TV remote that has an exposed LED bulb. When you press a button on the remote, it sends the signal to the television through this infrared LED, and you can see this infrared beam of light through this little camera and screen.
