EV battery giant Northvolt to build multibillion-dollar plant in Quebec

Northvolt, a Swedish battery manufacturing giant, says it will build a new multibillion-dollar electric vehicle battery plant east of Montreal. Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry François-Philippe Champagne explains how he sees the new electric vehicle battery mega-plant contributing up to $1.6 billion to the economy in five to nine years.
