Newly Elected Speaker and Deputy Speaker of 17th Tibetan Parliament Sworn in

སྐབས་༡༧ པའི་བོད་མི་དམངས་སྤྱི་འཐུས་ལྷན་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་བདམས་ཐོན་ཚོགས་གཙོ་མཁན་པོ་བསོད་ནམས་བསྟན་འཕེལ་དང་། ཚོགས་གཙོ་གཞོན་པ་སྒྲོལ་མ་ཚེ་རིང་གཉིས་ནས་ཆེས་མཐོའི་ཁྲིམས་ཞིབ་ཁང་གི་ཁྲིམས་ཞིབ་པ་ཆེ་བ་དྭགས་པོ་བསོད་ནམས་ནོར་བུ་ལགས་ཀྱི་མདུན་དུ་ལས་འཁུར་དམ་བཅའ་ཕུལ་ཡོད་པའི་གནས་ཚུལ་སྐལ་བཟང་འཇིགས་མེད་ཀྱིས་སྙན་སྒྲོན་ཞུས་ཡོད།
The 45 elected 17th Tibetan members of Parliament took oath of office as per the charter after an advisory of His Holiness the Dalai on their request. The newly elected 17th Tibetan Parliament Speaker Ven Khenpo Sonam Tenphel and Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering took oath of office from Tibetan Chief Justice Commissioner Sonam Norbu Dagpo this morning at the Sikyong Auditorium, Gangchen Kyishong.
Speaker Ven Khenpo Sonam Tenphel said “Based on His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s vision and goal of Tibetan Administration, I intent to work sincerely to strengthen the Tibetan cause”.
