🥣Raisin syrup is a delicious sweet recipe that can be used as a natural Sweetener for porridges with grains and cereals or as spread on to bread, toast, chapati or paratha etc. This recipe is suitable for above 1 year kid.

Here's how we can make this syrup at home?🏕

Ingredients🍱

🥣Raisins - 1 small cup
💦Water as required

Method👩‍🍳

💦1. Rinse the raisins and add them to a bowl with 2 cups of water.Soak it for half an hour.

🍶2. Add the soaked ingredients into a blender jar and thoroughly blended until a fine mixture.

🥣3. Strain the raisin mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a bowl,pressing on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible.

♨️4. In a pan add the strained liquid and cook it for 2-3 minutes under the low flame.

🍽5. Let the syrup cool to room temperature before using.(Store the syrup in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month)

✅Note - Offer raisins on occasion rather an everyday food so it's best to use them in small quantities and pair them with other nutrient-rich foods.
