Launch of the Electronic Ticketing Software

The Ministry of National Security in partnership with eGov Jamaica, recently launched a pilot programme for the Handheld Traffic Ticketing Software. This traffic ticketing solution will provide an accurate, real-time response to traffic ticket management, vs the manual paper-based ticketing process that currently exists. Under this initiative, one hundred (100) Android devices and portable printers will be rolled out this month (September 2020) to enhance Jamaica's Traffic Ticketing Management efforts
