Today, we go to Toys R Us and buy Sophia a Baby Alive! We've been wanting to get it for her for a while. Once we got into the store and started looking at all the Baby Alive stuff, we were getting confused. We wanted to know if the diapers were re-useable and everything pointed to "no" but still wasn't sure. Then we wanted to get a couple outfits so Sophia can change the baby for nighttime, and during the day. Some outfits were labeled for 12 or 14 inch dolls; the dolls were not marked as to what size they were, and some outfit sets were just labeled at Large or Medium. We were confused to say the least. We ended up buying the 12-14 inch clothes, and they fit the doll we bought. We also bought an extra pack or diapers. $7 for a pack of 6 is quite expensive, so once we got home, Liz saw on Etsy.com that people sell re-useable diapers probably just made of cloth that can dry out or be put in the washing machine and dryer.We will be buying a 3 pack for $15. The actual Baby Alive diapers are pretty close to real diapers, they get super-saturated and take forever to dry out, so it will probably grow mildew before it actually dries out. Thats how they get you :)
