How to use the Bangkok BTS MRT and SRT Trains with your bicycle

Many people ask me if you can take a bicycle on the Bangkok BTS Skytrain or MRT Subway. Today I will show you how you can still travel around town with a bicycle. Unfortunately it is not possible to get on the train on a normal bicyle, but you can use s foldable bicycle.

It is possible to travel the BTS in the early morning on weekdays from 6 am till 6 30 am with a normal bicycle, also after 10 pm it is possible to access the BTS with a regular bicycle.

Most train stations in Bangkok have an elevator. The new Bangkok Red SRT Line also allows foldable bicycles.
