Impaler + Catalyst MELT Conjunctivius – Then She Gave Me Killing Deck!

Welcome back to Blue Rose. Today, we're in the Insufferable Crypt fighting Conjunctivius on 2 Boss Cells. This boss has three phases: dashes, tentacle summons, and a bullet hell laser grid. I came prepared with a poison synergy build – but I didn't expect Conjunctivius to give me presents mid-fight.

The Loadout (Start of Fight):
🗡️ Impaler – crits when enemies are against walls. Great for tentacles.
🪓 Throwing Axe – ranged, returns like a boomerang. Solid for chip damage.
🧪 Catalyst – throws a vial that creates a toxic cloud. Poison synergy.
📦 Double Cross O Matic – turret that fires arrows. Consistent DPS.

The Mid-Fight Drops (Yes, FROM the Boss):
As Conjunctivius took damage, she dropped items (the game's loot system). First, a Killing Deck – a legendary? Or just a high-level one? Either way, it replaced my Throwing Axe. Then a Crusher – a skill that creates a slowing, damaging zone – replaced my Double Cross O Matic.

Why This Was Crazy:
I've never had a boss drop two usable items mid-fight before. Killing Deck is amazing for Conjunctivius because its cards can be cycled for different effects (heal, damage, etc.). Crusher is perfect for the tentacle phase – place it in the center, and all tentacles get slowed and damaged.

How the Fight Went:

Phase 1 (Dashes):
I started with Impaler + Throwing Axe. Catalyst created poison clouds that Conjunctivius had to fly through. Double Cross O Matic chipped away. I dodged her dashes – took one small hit.

Phase 2 (Tentacles – The Drop Happened):
After damaging her enough, she summoned tentacles. Right then, a Killing Deck dropped. I grabbed it and replaced Throwing Axe. Then a Crusher dropped – replaced Double Cross O Matic. I threw down Crusher in the middle of the tentacles. They slowed, I spammed Impaler crits. Killing Deck's damage output was insane.

Phase 3 (Bullet Hell):
Lasers everywhere. I used Crusher to slow any tentacles that spawned, and Killing Deck's ranged cards to hit Conjunctivius while running. Catalyst poison clouds ticked her down. She died before I ran out of flasks.

Result: Conjunctivius defeated on 2 BC. Used 2 flasks (those lasers are rough). But the mid-fight loot made the win feel special. Killing Deck is now one of my favorite weapons.

Final note: Conjunctivius is tough on 2 BC, but she gave me the tools to beat her. Killing Deck is incredible – if you find one, try it. And never ignore boss drops mid-fight. They can turn the tide.
