Prospecting the Nome gold rush's 3rd-richest creek (they found 14,500 ounces here in 1 year!)

This week we channel our inner 19th century gold prospectors by grabbing a shovel and some pans and exploring the famous Dexter Creek in Nome, Alaska. Dexter Creek was the third-most productive creek in the Nome gold rush after Anvil and Glacier creeks, producing 14,500 ounces in 1900 alone. Can we find some sweet G among the ruins?
