African Union mission in Somalia completes another phase of troop withdrawal
The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia also known as ATMIS is finalizing the withdrawal of a further 3,000 troops. The full exit of peacekeepers is scheduled for the end of next year, as Somali forces gradually take over security responsibilities.
