The son of two Olympians, clinched the silver medal with Brazil at the 2012 London Olympics and achieved the gold medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. Bruno was also honored as the best setter of the tournament. However, at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Bruno and his team engaged in an intense battle for the bronze medal but faced defeat, losing 3–2 against their rivals, Argentina.
