Lands of Big cats - Gir National Park - Wildstep India.
Its small documentary on big cats of Gir national park. Gir national park is very famous and home for Asiatic lions. Gir national park is established in 1965.
Once upon a time, this lion kingdom was spread over Asia but poaching in mid 20th century confined the kingdom to Gir national park.
Lion kingdom is spread over 1500 sq. km known as Gir forest.
Government and forest policy, conservation of Gir national park help these big cats to grow to 523 in numbers which were only 20 before many years.
There are two types of lion in world. One is African lion and second is Asiatic lion.

The second big cat is shy but strong into the forest. that is Indian Leopard.The Indian leopard (Panthera pardus fusca) is a leopard subspecies widely distributed on the Indian subcontinent. The species Panthera pardus is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List because populations have declined following habitat loss and fragmentation, poaching for the illegal trade of skins and body parts, and persecution due to conflict situations.
In 2014, a national census of leopards around tiger habitats was carried out in India except the northeast. 7,910 individuals were estimated in surveyed areas and a national total of 12,000-14,000 speculated
