Stiff focus ring in outer focus helicoids in Ai-s Micro-Nikkor 55mm 1:2.8

In this video I will try to show how to fix the stiff focus ring, and it will be about the outer focus helicoids in Ai-s Micro-Nikkor 55mm 1:2.8.

It's very common problem with the stiff focus ring in the old 55mm Micro-Nikkor lenses, but it's not so hard to fix.
NOTE:
The important thing when working with long focusing helicoids, with multi starting helicoid threads.
REMEMBER TO SET small marks, BEFORE disassemble, and when the helicoid's separate,!, so you can find the correct thread when assemble the focus system again.

You can also measure the lenght of the helicoid system before disassemble it fully.

My lens have a perfect smooth focus ring, BUT if I should re-grease it, I would clean the helicoids with lighter fluid and then re-grease with #10 helicoid grease.
