Yellowstone Tranquility - Slough Creek in May
Hiking or backpacking Slough Creek is always fun. Lots of wildlife everywhere and it is very peaceful and quiet. Most of the grizzly bears are on the other side of the river with most black bears on the trail side. Mid May to late June is the best time to do this hike because by July it gets very hot in this valley.
