Volumetric capturing @ Volucap Studios Babelsberg - the future of VR Content creation?

We are a small VR production from Berlin, Germany. And today we have been invited to "work" at the Volucap studio near Berlin. At Babelsberg - the "Hollywood of Germany" ... we have been allowed to record an impression of the studio - and here it is. Please mind this was a one take before we started capturing the "real thing" and if I missed something or seem to be unprepared - well, I was. We will be happy if you still like this video so we see demand for more and can get more content like this done for you.

The real thing in this case was a deepfake test with Tom Cruise face over mine. The creators of volucap wanted to go with a bit of similarity from the beginning - so that´s the reason why I was on set and I am happy to have seen this studio which otherwise would possibly never been the case.

As mentioned in the video - a big shoutout to @hughhou and his amazing tutorials on VR creation. We hope to kind of contribute to this in the future as well. Not as in depth - but with the same spirit of sharing and caring.
