As Donald Trump threatens to withdraw from NATO and slap tariffs on countries that 'don't go along with Greenland', experts joins Matthew Wright to explain what the President's threats are 'really about'

The US President reiterated his plans to take control of the nation, saying the US needs it for "national security very badly."

The hints came directly from the White House during a speech on Friday, where Mr Trump was asked by a reporter if he would pull out of NATO if it doesn't help him acquire Greenland.

He responded: "We're going to see. NATO has been dealing with us on Greenland, we need Greenland for national security very badly.

"If we don't have it we have a very big hole in terms of national security, especially in terms of the Golden Dome."
