Austin pediatrician and Texas Medical Association (TMA) physician leader Arathi Shah, MD, treated serious, complicated mumps patients in India. She has seen mumps cases in Texas as well. She describes this infection which is caused by a virus, and talks about what can happen to you if you catch the disease.
