Health Security: Combating Pandemics

Recent decades have witnessed a global surge of emerging and re-emerging diseases. It is becoming increasingly vital for India to find ways to prevent, detect, and respond to these threats. The development of health technologies—and enabling their widespread access—may provide a solution. How can we ensure equitable access to such technologies across nations? What capabilities can the industry and research community offer to governments to improve their preparedness and response mechanisms in handling adverse biological events?
