Aquaculture refers to the farming of aquatic organisms including fish, crustaceans, molluscs and aquatic plants and involves the cultivation of saltwater and freshwater populations in controlled conditions. This session will explore future opportunities and the projected direction of the fisheries and the Aquaculture industry in a Sri Lankan context.
