Forging A Damascus Steel WWII Shashka Saber | Blacksmith Collin Sage

Today at FirstBuild, bladesmith Collin Sage is making a WWII Cossack Shashka Saber.

Collin uses the San-Mai forging technique to sandwich his core 80CrV2 steel between two layers of Damascus, then finishes off the sword with a brass bolster and wooden handle.
