10 Awesome FREE Things To Do In Austin (Okay, ONE costs a few bucks)

Whats up guys! This weekend I was in Austin, TX. While I was there, I wanted to see as much as possible. Austin has a TON of stuff to do outside, which of course I loved. So I made a video of ten of the things that I though best helped me see the entire city, both close up, and far away. So here it is! My list of ten things you can do while you are in Austin that will help you see the artsy, the adventurous, the cultural, and the historical sides of Austin. The list in is no particular order, but here it is in order of presentation from the video:

1. Hope Outdoor Gallery
2. Pease Park
3. Zilker Park
4. South Congress Bats

6. Texas Capital Building
7. Mt. Bonnell
8. 360 Bridge
9. The Yellow Rope Swing: The rope swing is located down by the Hill of Life Dam. Just park up at the top of the Hill of Life and walk down to the Dam. Once you get to the Dam, cross it and head down river until you find the rope swing. Its not far, and its actually on Google Maps, so there is no way you can get lost! CAUTION: the rope swing should only be done if the water is deep enough and you are confident. We found out that you're supposed to swing from the tree so that you avoid the rocks. If you swing from the rocks by the tree, you may not go out far enough and you could hit the bottom. I hit bottom a few time, not super hard, but the water was pretty deep when we went. So make sure to check the water and bring out your inner Tarzan and Jane and swing from the trees! I assume no liability for anyone but myself :)
