ClueCon Weekly with Sebastian Schumann

Sebastian Schumann is a Senior Architect in the Network Production Development of Deutsche Telekom's international intercarrier Network Infrastructure unit. His self-proclaimed mission is to introduce Communications Telco APIs to support the transformation towards an API Telco.

His focal area is Network Production Development where he defines the end-to-end architectures of new intercarrier services and focuses on technical business development as well as new innovative products.

Current lead activities are voice and signaling production strategy & architecture (virtualization, cloud), Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) platform and enablement, and DT’s future intercarrier voice production platform and strategy.

Notably, he works on on introducing programmable communications APIs as well as a hybrid cloud deployment includig public cloud for intercarrier voice platform. He leads the majority of CPaaS initiatives across segments in DT and builds a platform that offers programmable telecoms APIs and embeds them in the Developer Program initiatives as well as various business contexts.
