Nature is in Retreat from Our Narratives | Dr. Selin Kesebir | TEDxLondonBusinessSchool

What happens when a society slowly forgets the language of nature?
Dr. Selin Kesebir reveals a striking cultural shift: words of nature are disappearing from our songs, books, and everyday speech. This fading connection affects our wellbeing and care for the planet. The talk is a quiet but urgent invitation to notice nature again and to start by naming it. Dr. Selin Kesebir is an Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour at London Business School. Trained as a social psychologist, she holds an MA from Northwestern University and a PhD from the University of Virginia. Her research examines the psychological forces that shape how we work, lead, and relate to one another. At LBS, she designed Wisdom and Happiness, a course focused on building a flourishing life. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
