Russia’s Ka-52M ‘Alligator’ To Counter US’ Apache Helicopters Amid Escalating Tensions Over Ukraine

Russia is looking to induct its new and lethal Ka-52M attack helicopters into the military. According to Sputnik News Agency, the first 15 new KA-52M attack helicopters will enter service by 2022. 15 more choppers will reportedly enter service in 2023 giving a further boost to Russia’s defence capabilities. The Ka-52M heavy attack helicopter is seen as Russia’s answer to the American Boeing Apache chopper. The chopper was showcased at the Dubai Air Show and is now set to be featured at the Egypt Defence Expo.
