Dear friends and followers, welcome back to my channel and to an exceptional video about „How to taxi a Boeing 747 at Hong Kong airport“.
On one of our recent flights to Hong Kong, my captain and I recorded the long taxi route to our parking stand after landing.
This video focuses primarily on the given clearances by the tower and ground controller. With the animation I hope to explain to you on how to read an airport ground chart and get a better understanding for the given clearances by ATC. I must admit the audio quality of the ATC of this video is better than what you here on LIVE ATC. Please use my video as a reference of ATC sound quality. I read a lot of comments by my followers complaining that they can’t understand the communication between the pilots and air traffic controller listening to LIVE ATC on the internet.
One thing to add, we didn’t start the APU, as we had no temperature sensitive cargo on board, plus Hong Kong ground supplied a ground power unit as they requests to use the APU as little as possible.
